Beef stew is essentially shank cuts that are flavourful and very tender when braised (pot roasting) or cooked in liquid (stewing). Stew meat is well-trimmed beef, cut into 3/4 to 1-1/2-inch pieces.
Available either bone-in or boneless, beef stew adds tremendous versatility to menu planning.
